Sambiaga seoses tuleb meil esmalt meelde maailma kõige suursugusem Victoria juga Zambezi jõel. Tegemist on hõredalt asustatud maaga Aafrika lõunaosa keskel, kus elab 14 miljonit inimest ja mis on pindalalt Eestist 16 korda suurem. Riik on rikas hinnaliste maavarade poolest: leidub kulda, hõbedat, vaske, rauda, smaragde, ametüste, marmorit jne. Üle 40% maast on kaetud metsaga. Suurimad keskkonnaprobleemid ongi seotud mäetööstuse ja liigse metsade raiumisega.

Aga Sambias on ka 20 rahvusparki, kus elab arvukalt pühvleid, jõehobusid, elevante, lõvisid, pärdikuid, kaelkirjakuid ja teisi Aafrikale iseloomulikke loomi.

Meeleolukat pildiretke Sambia rahvusparkides juhib loodusteadlane ja looduskaitsja söör Rein Kuresoo.

Musitseerib Peeter Malkov (flööt, elektroonika) ansamblist Propeller.
