Looduse Omnibuss soovitab: Loodusmuuseumis esineb tunnustatud filosoof ja muusik David Rothenberg

Neljapäeval, 20. novembril kell 18.00

Loodusmuuseumi Öökulli akadeemia loodusõhtu on eriline, kuna külla tuleb tunnustatud USA-s elav filosoof, helikunstnik, jazz-klarnetist ja kirjanik David Rothenberg.

Loodushelide ja muusikaga läbi põimitud loodusõhtu kannab nimetust „Sounds at the Speed of Time: Music and Nature“ ("Aja kulgemise helid: muusika ja loodus"). David Rothenberg on aastakümnete jooksul kogunud ja uurinud looduse hääli. Loodusõhtul arutleb Rothenberg värvikate näidete abil muusika olemuse üle ning sulandub ka ise klarneti abil looduse helidesse. Lisaks kuuleme Rothenbergi kogutud loodushääli ning saame juhiseid, kuidas märgata nendes seost muusikaga.
David Rothenberg on kirjutanud ja esinenud muusika ja looduse omavaheliste seoste teemadel aastaid. Ta on välja andnud mitmeid loodusteemalisi raamatuid ja plaate. Näiteks musitseerinud koos lindudega („Why Birds Sing“) ja vaaladega („Thousand Mile Song“). David Rothenberg on ka Loodusmuuseumi näituse „Tempo ja rütm. Südamelöögist kosmiliste tsükliteni“ loodushelide eksponaadi autor. Kiirendatud ja aeglustatud loodushelide eksponaati on võimalik külastada ka kodulehel www.naturetempo.com.
Loodusõhtu algab kell 18.00 ning on eestikeelse tõlkega. Sissepääs muuseumipiletiga – täiskasvanud 3 eurot, õpilased ja pensionärid 2. Eesti Loodusmuuseum asub Tallinna vanalinnas, aadressil Lai 29a.
