Ekspeditsioon Vene-Lapimaale

Oleme mitmeid kordi käinud Kuusamo kandis Riisitunturi ja Oulanka rahvusparkides ning Iivaaralt vaadanud Venemaale. Nüüd läheme üle piiri Paanajärvi rahvusparki. Retkejuhtideks loodusteadlased Ülo Sõstra ja Alar Läänelaid. Geoloog Ülo Sõstra on koos Vene ja Soome kolleegidega Paanajärvi rahvuspargi looja. Bioloog Alar Läänelaiu üheks hobiks on põlispuude vanuse määramine. Rahvuspargis on mida vaadata: ürgsed metsad, uhked tunturid, jõed ja kanjonid.
Sõidame minibussiga Soome kaudu. Orienteeruv hind 300 eurot (sh Venemaa kiirviisa, laeva- ja bussisõit). Kohtade arv on piiratud. Nimekirja paneme lõplikult kokku esmaspäeval 15.augustil.
